Good Question! I went into Blogger Help and it keeps telling me that there is a second search box on my Navbar to search for blogs. There is NOT a second search box anywhere on any Navbar in blogger. I don't see it anyway.
Lesa Z. and I spent time puzzling over this and the only thing we came up with is, you have to go to: search.blogger.com. But it seems to search more than just blogger. As for why you can't get to it from blogger, I do not know.

Its pretty stupid and ass-backward to the projected idea that this is to create online communities. Communities that you can't find....
